1 Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern the relationship between Minrax ("Developer", "we", "us", "our") and any individual ("User", "you", "your") who downloads, installs, or uses the mobile application Leidaro and/or the website leidaro.com (together, the "Service").

By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of the Service immediately.

The Service is available to users in multiple countries across Europe. Where mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence provide you with rights that are more favourable than those set out in these Terms, those mandatory rules shall prevail to the extent required by applicable law.

2 Independent Developer — Legal Notice

Leidaro is an independent mobile application developed entirely by private developers to make using public transport across Europe easier and more enjoyable.

The application and website are an independent product of Minrax. Any similarity in names, icons, or functionality with official services is coincidental or results from the use of publicly available transit data.

The Developer does not operate, manage, or control any public transport network. Leidaro is a passenger information tool only — it does not sell tickets, issue passes, or provide official travel guarantees.

3 Service Coverage and Supported Cities

Leidaro provides real-time public transport information for 30 European cities across multiple countries, including but not limited to:

• Western Europe: Vienna (Austria), Brussels (Belgium), Paris (France), Berlin (Germany), Luxembourg (Luxembourg), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Zurich (Switzerland), London (United Kingdom)
• Northern Europe: Copenhagen (Denmark), Tallinn (Estonia), Helsinki (Finland), Riga (Latvia), Vilnius (Lithuania), Oslo (Norway), Stockholm (Sweden)
• Southern Europe: Tirana (Albania), Athens (Greece), Rome (Italy), Madrid (Spain)
• Central & Eastern Europe: Sofia and Plovdiv (Bulgaria), Prague (Czech Republic), Budapest (Hungary), Krakow and Warsaw (Poland), Bucharest (Romania), Bratislava (Slovakia), Ljubljana (Slovenia)
• Ireland: Dublin (Ireland)

The list of supported cities may change over time. The Developer reserves the right to add, remove, or modify the availability of any city at any time, with or without prior notice. The current list of supported cities is always available on the Leidaro website.

When you switch cities within the app, the Service downloads the relevant static transit database for that city to your device. This database is used to provide offline access to routes, stops, and schedules.

4 Service Provided "As Is"

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any express or implied warranties, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose;
• Warranties of uninterrupted, timely, or error-free operation;
• Warranties that the Service will meet your requirements;
• Warranties of compatibility with specific devices or operating system versions;
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any transit data displayed.

The Developer reserves the right to suspend, modify, or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time and without prior notice.

5 Data, Accuracy, and Sources

5.1 Data Sources

Information about vehicles, routes, stops, and schedules is obtained from publicly available GTFS (General Transit Feed Specification) and GTFS-RT (GTFS Realtime) data feeds published by the respective transit authorities and transport operators in each supported city. The Developer does not generate, own, or control this data.

The Developer operates a caching proxy that temporarily stores GTFS-RT data to reduce the load on upstream transit authority servers and improve app performance. This proxy does not alter the underlying data.

5.2 Accuracy and Timeliness

Displayed vehicle positions, arrival times, and other operational information are approximate and may deviate from actual conditions. The Developer is not responsible for:

• Delays, cancellations, or changes to schedules;
• Inaccuracies in GTFS data provided by transit authorities;
• Temporary unavailability of data due to technical reasons;
• Missed vehicles as a result of inaccurate or delayed data;
• Disruptions caused by weather, traffic, strikes, or other force majeure events.

5.3 Offline Data

The app downloads static transit databases (routes, stops, schedules) to your device for offline use. These databases are built from GTFS data at a specific point in time and may become outdated. The Developer is not responsible for discrepancies between offline data and the current operational reality.

5.4 Not a Navigation or Safety Device

Leidaro is a passenger information tool and is not a navigation device, safety device, or emergency service. It must not be used as the sole basis for decisions that could affect your safety or the safety of others.

6 Premium Features and Subscription

6.1 Free Version

The core features of Leidaro are completely free and ad-free. No registration or provision of personal data is required to use the free features.

6.2 Premium Subscription

Certain advanced features (marked with a "crown" icon in the app) are available only with an active paid subscription ("Premium"). The subscription is managed entirely through Google Play Billing in accordance with the terms of Google Play.

• Prices and subscription periods are displayed in the Google Play Store;
• Billing and payment processing are handled by Google, not by the Developer;
• Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time in your Google Play settings;
• Upon cancellation, Premium access remains active until the end of the paid period;
• The Developer does not store or process payment card data;
• Premium status may also be granted through a one-time lifetime purchase, where offered.

6.3 Right of Withdrawal

Under Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), the right of withdrawal from a distance contract does not apply to digital content supplied on a non-material medium where performance has begun with the consumer's express consent and the consumer has acknowledged that they lose their right of withdrawal. By activating a Premium subscription, you expressly consent to the immediate performance of the digital content and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once performance has begun.

6.4 Refunds

All purchases are processed by Google Play. Refund requests must be submitted through Google Play's refund process. The Developer does not process refunds directly. For EU consumers, statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law remain unaffected where they apply.

7 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from:

• The use of, or inability to use, the Service;
• Inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated transit data;
• Technical interruptions, errors, or data loss;
• Actions or omissions of third parties (data providers, mobile operators, etc.);
• Missed benefits, missed vehicles, or resulting inconveniences;
• Any reliance placed on the information provided by the Service.

The total liability of the Developer to any User, under any circumstances, is limited to the amount paid by the User for the Service during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

8 Trademarks and Intellectual Property

8.1 Developer Ownership

The design, source code, user interface, logo, and all original materials of Leidaro are the property of Minrax and are protected by copyright law. Their copying, distribution, or use without the express written consent of the Developer is prohibited.

8.2 Third-Party Marks

All trademarks, logos, and names mentioned in the Service (including, but not limited to, transit authority names, "Google Play," "OpenStreetMap," and others) are the property of their respective owners. Their mention is for informational or descriptive purposes only and does not constitute endorsement, partnership, or affiliation with those organizations.

8.3 Open Data Licenses

Map data is provided by OpenStreetMap contributors under the Open Database License (ODbL). Transit data is used under the respective terms of each transit authority's open-data license. You may be required to attribute the original data providers when redistributing data obtained through the Service.

9 Personal Data and Privacy

9.1 Data We Do Not Collect

Leidaro is designed with a "privacy by default" principle. The application does not collect, store, or transmit personal data of users to Developer servers, including:

• Names, email addresses, or phone numbers;
• GPS location (except where you explicitly grant permission for local-only features);
• Usage analytics;
• Payment card data;
• Device identifiers or advertising identifiers.

9.2 Local Data

Information about favorite lines, saved filters, settings, and downloaded city databases is stored exclusively on your device and is not sent anywhere else.

9.3 Location Permissions

If you grant location permission, it is used only locally on your device for features such as "find nearby stops" and GPS-based current stop detection. Coordinates never leave your device and are not sent to the Developer or to third parties.

9.4 Notifications

If you grant notification permission, it is used solely to deliver the alerts you have configured (e.g., "your bus is approaching"). No notification data is transmitted to the Developer.

9.5 Google Play Billing

When you purchase a Premium subscription, payment data is processed entirely by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. The Developer receives only a confirmation of your subscription status.

9.6 GDPR Compliance

Because we do not process personal data, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) does not impose specific obligations on us as a data controller. If this practice changes, we will update these Terms and provide any required privacy notices in a timely manner.

9.7 Website Analytics

The Leidaro website may use third-party analytics services (e.g., Statcounter) to collect anonymized aggregate statistics about website visits. These services may set cookies or similar technologies. For more information, please refer to the respective service's privacy policy.

10 Third-Party Services and External Data

The Service uses or depends on the following third-party services and data sources:

• Transit authorities and operators — public GTFS/GTFS-RT data feeds for each supported city. The Developer has no control over the availability or accuracy of these feeds.
• OpenStreetMap / OpenStreetMap contributors — map data under the ODbL license. © OpenStreetMap contributors.
• Google Play — app distribution and payment processing.
• Google Fonts — web fonts used on the website.

The Developer is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or terms of use of these third-party services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

11 User Obligations and Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application;
• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without prior written consent;
• Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Service's servers or networks;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service's systems or data;
• Use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm others;
• Use the Service in a way that violates the rights of third parties, including intellectual property rights;
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service's data feeds in a manner that exceeds reasonable use.

The Developer reserves the right to restrict or terminate access to the Service for any user who violates these Terms or applicable law.

12 Changes to These Terms

The Developer reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. In the event of material changes, a notice will be published in the app or on the website. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of the new Terms constitutes your acceptance of them.

We recommend that you periodically review this page. The "Last updated" date at the top of this document indicates when the most recent change was made.

13 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria and, where applicable, the mandatory provisions of European Union law. All disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved by the competent courts of Sofia, Republic of Bulgaria, unless applicable EU law provides for a different jurisdiction in favor of the consumer.

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you reside, and nothing in these Terms shall deprive you of the protection of those mandatory provisions.

Consumers in the EU have the right to use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/

The European Commission's ODR platform is available for resolving disputes between consumers and businesses arising from online contracts. The Developer does not currently participate in any alternative dispute resolution scheme.
